Member Privacy Agreement

1. Confidentiality of Business Relationships

All business relationships discovered through STOK are strictly confidential. You agree not to:

• Approach, contact, or solicit another member's clients, buyers, or end customers — whether identified through listings, conversations, wishlists, or any other activity on the Platform.
• Approach, contact, or solicit another member's suppliers, sources, or consignors — whether identified through reposted listings, profile information, or any other means.
• Use information obtained on STOK to bypass another member in any existing or potential business relationship.

2. No Poaching of Clients & Suppliers

If you discover the identity of another member's client or supplier through STOK, you must not:

• Contact them directly to offer competing goods or services.
• Offer them better pricing or terms to divert business away from the original member.
• Share their contact information with third parties.
• Use their identity for any commercial advantage outside of your existing relationship with the member who introduced the connection.

3. Protection of Contact Information

Contact details shared on STOK (including but not limited to WhatsApp numbers, phone numbers, Instagram handles, email addresses, and business names) are shared for the sole purpose of facilitating direct communication about listed items. You agree not to:

• Collect, store, or compile other members' contact details for external use.
• Share another member's contact details with anyone outside the Platform without their explicit written consent.
• Add members to marketing lists, group chats, or broadcast lists without their permission.
• Use contact information for any purpose unrelated to a specific listing or enquiry on STOK.

4. Respecting the Repost Chain

The repost feature allows members to share listings from their network. When you see a reposted listing, you agree to:

• Deal only with the member who reposted the item to you — not attempt to trace or contact the original source.
• Respect each member's right to set their own pricing and margins.
• Not pressure members to reveal their supply chain, source pricing, or supplier identity.

5. Listing Photos & Content

Photos and descriptions uploaded by members remain their property. You agree not to:

• Use another member's photos on external platforms, social media, or marketplaces without their permission.
• Crop, edit, or remove watermarks from photos to disguise their origin.
• Represent another member's inventory as your own without using the official Repost feature.

6. Fair Dealing

Members are expected to conduct business ethically and in good faith. This includes:

• Honouring agreed prices and terms once a deal is confirmed.
• Being transparent about the condition, authenticity, and provenance of items.
• Communicating promptly and respectfully with other members.
• Not engaging in price manipulation, fake listings, or misleading representations.

7. Consequences of Violation

Violations of this Member Privacy Agreement are taken seriously. If a member is found to have breached these terms, the following actions may be taken:

• Warning — A formal notice for first-time or minor violations.
• Temporary Suspension — Account access may be suspended while the matter is reviewed.
• Permanent Removal — Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent account termination and removal from the network.
• Network Notification — In cases of serious misconduct, affected members may be notified to protect the integrity of the network.

8. Reporting Violations

If you believe a member has violated this agreement, please report it to the Platform administrator through the app. All reports will be handled confidentially. We encourage members to resolve minor misunderstandings directly before escalating.
